I made coffee in a percolator this morning - this was an experiment for me, my second attempt using a stove top percolator and it did well this time. The first time it was not good. For my usual morning coffee, I use a moka pot. The percolated coffee was not as strong, but it was tasty. I added a couple of pinches of salt to the grounds basket which I think helped. And I figured out how long (or closer) to perc it. The first time I did not perc long enough and the coffee was way to weak. Basically just brown water.
