Maybe if you press the ground bacon onto the outside of the burger, like a crust? With some breadcrumbs or egg? Maybe not egg!!
Actually, stopdog, I pre-cook bacon really crispy and then grind it up and add it to the beef. My son LOVES it. My hamburgers consist of a lot of stuff usually. Ground bacon, eggs and garlic with some panko. Or eggs, french onion soup mix. Or just garlic, fresh chopped basil, etc.
