I know what you mean. I have gained a lot of weight with meds, too --and I need to lose some, but I can't even exercise due to spine and knee problems. So, cutting the calories seems the best approach. How's it going now? I think the danger is the body's panicking and going into starvation mode if calories drop below around 1200 a day. Is that what you've read?
