Even the T's that are straight, but say they are welcoming of LGBTQ people, don't
really"get it" a lot of the time. That's not to say they don't care, or don't try and help, but it's not quite the same. Hopefully there will come a day when it "doesn't matter" because everyone will be looked at the same way. Although, I doubt we will see that in our life time.
