Can I ask WHY you are scared to talk to a Rabbi about your wonders? imo - he would be the perfect person to answer all your questions.

Rhapsody . . . because I'm scared of talking to strangers about something so personal. I'm scared of talking to men. I'm scared of entering a place (synagogue) without someone I trust to hold my hand and who knows the way and knows what to do.

Jennie, were you Orthodox first? Who helped you to convert, are they still in your life? (((hugs)))

_Sky . . . no, I'm just a Gentile wanting to convert to Reform Judaism. For eight years I've wanted to talk to a rabbi about this but felt silly because I'm a Gentile and what I have researched online that it's not encouraged for Gentiles to become Jews, although some rabbis will do conversion. I can't procrastinate this anymore because I want my son to grow up with a community of fellow believers his age.

__zh . . . thanks. i hear that. i have a lot of anxiety about it which makes it easy for excuses why i've put this off . . . my faith low on my list.

I have not, but I find many though provoking things about it. It's too bad you have no support from your hubby but do your thing. Faith is not silly, IMHO, it is necessary. Call a rabbi at a local Reform congregation and have a chat. That's the perfect person to answer your questions in detail. Maybe start compiling a list of questions so you are prepared. There is also a lot of info here in this quiz:

RainbowFaerie . . . oh my, that test was great! Thank you for sharing that link. That link should be a stinky for this forum!
My test results confirmed my research. I look forward to seeing my hubby's results. Mine are:
Reform Judaism (100%)
Unitarian Universalism (85%)
