Honestly I don't even want the job but I was kinda forced by family and my therapist. I said i would go basically right when I get out of school and now I wish I didn't say I would do it so early. I just get so nervous that I just go with the first thing she says. I didn't even think about needing to do the cashier AND the ice cream. Im not good with money and what if someone wants it in a cone and i break the cone. Ugh I am so nervous and have so much anxiety.
Congrats and good luck! Even those of us, who have had more than one job in a lifetime, will say there's a bit of nervousness that comes along with any new place of employment.

Pay attention to the person training you, sure you'll learn how to not break a cone, and if you do, no biggie, probably wouldn't be the first cone broken there

Cash register training takes time, so perhaps that may or may not occur on your first shift, not sure, but just take your time, if you do.

One thing, about working in the service industry, is it's best to take each customer, one at a time, and don't fret about those behind. Before you know it, you'll find a rhythm/routine. Yes, there is a rhythm to the process. Oh, don't forget to smile (customers like smiling faces )

Best of Luck, can't wait to hear about it!!!
Thanks for this!
