This whole wedding thing is just too damn stressful and FH doesn't seem to care/understand that there are some things that have to be organised in the next month, two at most, or we'll have to either pay more for the day we want or change the date altogether. And given we don't have a great deal of money to start with the former is really not an option. FH hasn't asked his family and friends for their addresses yet either, unless I've been standing right there (twice), so we can't send out save the dates or invites.
URGH! I'm so over it all. I have to wait another two weeks for a decision about my son, I've just been diagnosed with an Adjustment disorder and possible PTSD, and I seem to be the only one who's bothering with anything wedding related.
What makes it even more annoying is the fact that FH keeps telling people how much he wants this, and he really does, but then he does nothing to actually organise things or help!
Are all guys like this with weddings? Or am I just really odd in not wanting to organise everything on my own? Weddings are supposed to be about two people coming together and choosing to spend the rest of their lives together so why is it always about the bride? I hate the attention and I don't want it to be just about me, it's about BOTH of us!
