When one of my students doesn't show up for English class and rather than going to the afterschool care room to try and find her, I just let it go and hope that it will sort itself out (hope the problem will go away if I ignore it?) An hour later she shows up with the afterschool teacher saying that they were mistaken about what time class starts and I feel like an a**hole. why can't I be more proactive
