I would ask your dad to please wait in the waiting room so that you could be the most honest with the psychiatrist. Tell your dad you don't know what questions the psychiatrist may ask and you don't want to be embarrassed by answering truthfully in front of your dad. that you may feel more pressure to lie if you're in the room with you.
