If your stomach can take the acid without rebellion, I think it should work.
Tap water has so many added chemicals to it. Purified water just gives you
the purity of what you're putting into your digestive system, that's all, but please
don't underestimate its benefit for your digestive system.
I would say it's best to use fresh lemons (or limes, since they are also highly alkaline when digested).
Are you talking about bottled lemon juice? I don't know about that one; I've never tried it, but I think bottling it may have some effect on its potency over time. You want the power of the lemon as fresh as you can get it, in my view. But you can always try it and see how it compares with the fresh fruit. If you don't get the effects you want, please go with the fresh lemon or lime for real relief.
