Hmmm,
Well, for us, we can communicate inside.
If an alter takes over, they take over and I am inside and lose time.
If I am co-conscious with an alter, I do NOT have control, only the vision, sounds and knowledge of what is happening.
I am not driving the car, I am only a passenger.
However, there are other times that an alter is just about out and we are more than that, I am in control and can communicate with that alter.
Maybe I should re-orient my thinking to
If alter is in control and I can only hear, see, and know what is happening I should call that "awareness"
If I am in control and can communicate and work with the desires of the alter I should call that "co-consciousness".
