I love my cats, all three of them, and they give me such comfort and joy! There isn't much to taking care of a cat, especially if you get one as a kitten. They will go to litter naturally, and if you are fortunate enough to live in a safe area where they can go outside when they're older, they will go outside too, as well as enjoy their outings in the fresh air. Spaying or neutering is a good idea when before they get to the stage of maturity where they are displaying their sexuality.
Just get some kitten food.
