benzos were bad for me (I'm a painter, glass blower, sculptor). Other meds worked better for me. Beleive it or not--haldol and seroguel at low doses helped me (i also have other symptoms). I say it does not hurt to try other things. Benzos over a long time period can be hard on your brain (as most meds).
