Hi Biplol,
I do hope you decide to get a sweet little kitty. I have two that are now eight and nine respectively. They are our babies now that the kids are grown and gone.
Although, our's don't do alot of playing, like they use to, (they would rather lay around and eat and sleep these days) they still give us so much joy.
Heck, my husband and I even take them with us when we go camping. We just put them in the motorhome and away we go.
Yes, your kitty will definitely need a scratching post as they love to sharpen their claws. That and a litter box and a few toys and you are set. Other than food, of course.
If you get one, you'll have to take a picture and let us see your new joy.
Good Luck
LInda
