And now the panic starts up again....

xgrpcoT (Thanks, Mastodon! LOL) emailed back saying she'd be happy to meet with me to help me sort this out...and asked if I wanted my T not to know. I really should have thought this through better. Her office is DIRECTLY NEXT to my T.

Now, I'd imagine there's no harm in my T knowing that I am consulting with another T about something specific....but considering it seems to be a sensitive topic for him, I have no idea how he would take it.

I told her that I wasn't sure how I felt about it. I told her that I didn't want to keep it from him but am cautious because I'm not sure how he'd feel about it. ACK.

I asked if I could see her tonight or tomorrow before group T....so I can try to have a final decision by then. It's not fair to the group to have this linger on. I either need to stay firm in my position or commit to continuing with group. It has to be one or the other, as it's not fair to anybody for me to be in limbo about it.
