Hi Stanley It is absolutely awful the way you've been treated and my heart literally breaks for you. Your mother's reaction of "well if you were REALLY suicidal..." made me actually gasp. I attempted several times when I was 17 and never actually told anyone until over 10 years later. I was always afraid of getting that type of answer.

The fact that you haven't acted on the urges proves that you are MUCH stronger than you think you are. And so much more strong than it seems like anyone around you is giving you credit for.

For the ghost situation, have you heard of a smudge stick? I believe it has its roots in Paganism (some people are a bit turned off by that kind of thing)... but I've actually heard of people having very positive outcomes with it.
