I have a gf who says klonopin makes her cry, she can't take it. But she swears by Ativan. I don't know anything about serax. But good luck with it, try not to get *too* nervous (easier said than done, I know) - but if it doesn't help you, just let the pdoc know asap, and you can try something else. Like maybe the Ativan that helped my friend... Remember it will be and you will be ok eventually.
