Huge seasonal mood-changer here. It doesn't help that I live in western Oregon where we have four seasons: rain, rain/snow, rain, and road construction.

I will say that summers here, for the most part, are perfection itself.....long, warm, sunny days from early July through September and sometimes even into October. This year it was actually a warm, dry spring so we got a big jump on the summer, which of course pleases me to no end!

Temps average a perfect 82 degrees through July and August, although sometimes they go north of 95 and make life pretty miserable given the fact that almost NOBODY has air conditioning in their home. Of course, having grown up in Southern California I'm very heat tolerant and hate being cold, but everyone else in the family gets grumpy in the heat while I'm at my best.

And yes, I tend to be manic in the late spring and summer, and the depression hits me long about the time we're taking down the Christmas decorations.
