Have you thought about learning sign language and specializing in that. What I mean is, it could be useful to a hospital that can relate to someone who is deaf and can speak to them efficiently as well as knows about medicine. Hospitals can hire an interpreter, but I would think some medically relevant things could get dropped in passing message back and fourth. Having a medical assistant could be better than just having an interpreter. Just my thought.
