That's true. There's no such thing as "normal". Everybody has problems in life, some just
handle them better than others of us.
I want to mention one word about positive thinking, please: when you "feel like (you)
may spiral out of control again very soon", you are predicting your future. Stop thinking
that way, please. Give yourself at least a chance to be content. Tell yourself instead
that "I am not likely to spiral out of control at all again if I continue to take care of
myself and take medications and watch my diet. When you think in positive ways, you are reinforcing your psyche to live in the positive, not the negative.
Emmet Fox has a little paperback out called "Around The Year With Emmet Fox". It's
one of the best little paperbacks on how to think in ways that will defeat us and
how to change our thinking to positive views that will enable us to feel alive, strong,
and active no matter what.
