I do notice it: if my sex drive is higher than usual, I can speculate that I must be ovulating and will have a period within a couple of weeks. Usually I'm right, even though I'm nearing menopause and I've become irregular now. The calendar can't tell me when my next period will be, but my sex drive still can, at least until my periods stop. How much longer that will be, I don't know.
