This system is really flawed!!!!

My primary insurance is Medicare. I do get Medicaid with a rather large spend down I have to meet each month in order to access services with it.

Differences:
Medicaid are based off of community agencies in which my spend down is too high for me to get services through. Although I did find one agency to work with me but I had to discontinue services due to being misdiagnosed, given wrong meds, wrong therapy and etc.

Medicare
You have to go through the hospitals. In which they can meet with you only once a month for therapy??? (because they have so many people) I have alot of trauma's I am trying to resolve and once a month is going to be rather slow paced.

The Medicaid agencies you are allowed to be seen 4x a month with a therapist, 4x a month with a case manager, 1x a month a nurse practitioner or psychiatrist

To me Medicaid seems to get the better treatment plan. Makes no sense medicare will not provide case management. Even if I was to seek out another medicare therapist I can not afford the co-pays each week on social security disability.

This makes no sense!! How does one get better?
