Depends. There is a dependent personality disorder. Then there are things about co-dependents that don't fall into the DSM. Some co-deps struggle with being Adult Children of Alcoholics/Dysfunctional Family of Origins. Some can be People-pleasers, some can suffer with Depression or anxiety.
