I have weird dreams too, so don't feel bad. Usually I can't remember them very long unless I write them down. It will often be of something I just saw before I went to sleep. Usually not scary.
This was a weird one....we were watching that movie where Tom Hanks is shipwrecked and talks to a ball. I went to sleep during it, and I dreamed I lived on a farm, and the farm next to me belonged to Tom Hanks and his wife. They had a whole lot of kids and it was the olden days. One day the wife came and got me, and said there has been a terrible accident. We ran over to the farm on the other side (I was dressed like Little house on the Prairie....we all were)....then, it got creepy because our neighbors across the way got murdered. By their kid. It was a horrid mess. He got arrested. We (me, hubs, Tom Hanks, and Mrs T.H.) were trying to clean the crime scene up when a very tall black man arrived. He said he was friends of the dead people, and was horrified. Then, it gets funny again. He says he is a ham delivery driver, and that our deceased neighbors had ordered some hams, and he didn't know what to do with them. My husband went and talked with him, and returned, saying he had purchased some hams, and that Tom should, too, because it was a GREAT deal. I got mad, and said, "is it really the time to be worrying about ham, when we are trying to clean up a murder scene, and our neighbors are dead?" And he responded, "well, we still need ham!"
Another great dream I had....the little picture I have, the little joker guy, is my background on my iPad, which I was playing on before falling asleep. I presume that is what made me have this dream. I am sitting around, actually I think I was making pie or cake or something, and my door rings. It is that guy, joker. Boy, he is ugly. He says, "Hey, come on, we don't have much time! We gotta get the fence fixed and get the stock tank filled." I ask why, and he looks at me like I'm retarded, and says, "the llamas are almost here, and they need water!" We walk around behind my house, and I see he has indeed been hard at work. He has a big galvanized stock tank filling, and has some fencing done, but we have more to do, so we are digging holes for the fence posts, and putting barbed wire up. It is hot, and we are sweating and hungry and thirsty, but we keep going. Just as we finish, a semi pulls up, and then another, and another. They are all full of llamas. We start unloading them, and there are soon about 300. It is way too many for the amount of space, but at least for the time being, they are contained, and have water. We go inside to have a snack and some tea, and relax, and cool down, and talk about our llama plans. I don't know where my husband or kids were, but....we sure could've used some help with that fence! It didn't seem odd at all that someone would dress up in this manner, or that we somehow had this llama thing going. Or the fact that it was over 90 degrees, and he had on that coat or whatever, and didn't remove it, even when we were both about to have heat strokes. Nothing about this seemed odd until I woke up.
I don't even remember most of my dreams, but if I can find a pen, I try to write it down. If I go back to sleep, I will forget it. By afternoon I will forget it. Another way is to tell someone right away.
I know I had a weird dream two nights ago, and I remember waking up and thinking, wtf....but I don't remember one bit of it.
We aren't alone. Last week, my husband dreamed we went out for supper and the people from Pawn Stars were there, and Chumlee got mad because he thought my husband was making fun of him (which he was not) and started yelling at my husband, then he knocked over a chair and was like "F... it, I don't have to put up with this!" And stormed off. I was really mad, my husband said, and was like, "Way to go! You are SUCH an A-hole!" And went out to talk to Chumlee. Hubs just sat there and everyone stared at him and whispered, and he was embarrassed, and actually, he hadn't said anything, but no one believed him.
Lol.
I try to not remember if my dream is scary.
