Hi Dr. Clay,
Glad to hear you aren't one of the kooky ones! An example of physical oversensitivity would be someone who has experienced panic attacks who becomes severely anxious at the mere THOUGHT of another panic attack; or someone who is constantly "checking" their own emotional and/or physical state to reassure themselves they are aok. Or because they once suffered from a certin malady they have this internal checklist they review each hour (whatever time period) to make sure they aren't coming down with it again. Gosh, now I sound like a whack job! Does that make sense?
