Of course, moods affect actions, but there must be a way to contol the mood so that I can do the action I want to do.
EX: My husband has been quite ill for the past three years. I lost my two sons within 27 months. My youngest was in the hospital emergency room pending referral to a psychiatric unit and the ER doc overdosed him. He was 24. Just 4 months ago my oldest committed suicide. He was 32. I have one daughter, 30, who is thriving and doing beautifully. There is a history of mental illness in the family. My side of the family is prone to depression and bipolar. The kids father has personality disorders, is abusive (physically and emotionally) and has a history of schzophrenia in his family.
I say all this because I do so want to have a neat tidy house, a beautiful flower garden, etc. Not Better Homes and Gardens, just pleasant.
I'm a full time caregiver to my husband.
How do I manage my moods and be productive when what I really want to do is sleep?
