Years ago, Snr year of HS, I ruptured an inner ear membrane or something like that idk, can't remember. It came oozing out of my ear and then every single sound, the slightest of sounds, even my own voice was excrutiating as I could feel my eardrum vibrate every single time!!! It was aweful! So I really sympathize with you on ear aches and pains
