It appears from the website below that the UK now has a proactive program to help people with PD’s:

In addition to the video clips on the main page, there is another page with clips that show how life might be lived and experienced by people with other PD’s:

These latter “portraits” seem not particularly complimentary but seem to strive to be realistic. And they may help engender better understanding of what living with a PD can be like.
