When I was 15 I went to see my Gynecologist about any options of meds for my social anxiety. She choose to put me on Prozac at the lowest dose. I went about three weeks before I became suicidal and tried to overdose. When my Gyno found out she threated to call the cops and have me put into an institution. All because I texted her a simple questions regarding what if on suicide. (She gave me her cell number to keep in touch, which I thought was nice of a doc to do.) At my next scheduled appointment things didn't go ideally.

She told me that kind of action could get me put into an insane asylum. She then told me I had characteristics of Borderline Personality Disorder. I had never heard of it but went to look it up after. I have to say I do fit in some ways, but others are not me. I think she was wrong to quickly label me as this, and she isn't even a p-doc.

This was about 6 years ago, and I haven't seen her since.
