I'm sorry to hear about that. I just recently just stopped taking my meds for two weeks, but started taking it again because I was becoming symptomatic with paranoia and suicidal thoughts. I stopped taking the meds because I read about the bad side effects and I wanted to see if I could survive without them. Turns out I couldn't. Maybe your daughter doesn't want to take the meds because she thinks they're doing her more harm than good, like I thought. Also when I was first hospitalized I refused to take the medication because I was irrational and crazy and thought they were poison. I showed the pills to my mother and told them they were poisoning me. So it could be she's being very irrational too. I'm sorry that this is her 7th hospitalization. I've been mentally ill for 9 years and it took me a long time to accept it. Unfortunately some people never do. I hope that's not the case for you and your daughter.
