I've learned that acknowledging your problems, addressing them, and trying to work through them are those key steps to help yourself get better. But how do you cope when no one is around to really help you with these steps?

I don't mean I have absolutely nobody in my life, I mean I don't have anyone who can truly understand, and therefore truly can't help me. It's hard knowing my T is the only one who understands me and my problems. It's hard to live with others who can not or will never truly understand my problems. And it breaks my heart to know my loved ones, who want to help but can't because they have never had the same problems as I do.

How do you cope without family and friends who understand you?
