That depends on the purpose and quantity and frequency of make-up. I guess I would agree we should have the right of choice. Not a definite should or should not. I like to use mascara because otherwise it looks like I have no lashes at all. Most of my life is spent in a work uniform without make-up at all so now and then, it is nice to improve the lip tone or bring out my lashes a bit more and I do hide my grey hairs or simply get bored now and then with hair colour because the options are there. Sometimes I even enjoy a bit of one time creativity like a colour streak or tips of pink or blue but that is rare. All I am saying is everything has a place and time if done tastefully.

Let's not gender discriminate either....prior to puritan beliefs in the 17th and 18th centuries, men wore make-up also. Many other cultures had body art on men also to indicate status and fierceness or rank. So it is not just women.
