Bless your heart. That WOULD hurt. Kids -- you can't hit them and you can't kill them. LOL (just kidding) I'm sure she didn't realize what she was saying. You didn't say how old she is. If she's a teenager, that's about par for the course. They can say some pretty insensitive things.

You HAVE accomplished ALOT in your life, considering you had a crud of a husband!!! You did it all yourself!!! Sounds like you had NO help at all, and that makes it even more incredible! You should be very proud of yourself, my friend.

And now dealing with BiPolar, I'm sure it's difficult for you. I'm physically disabled, and this isn't the life I had planned either. I can barely walk around the house, without having to stop and rest. And usually I can't even do that!! NUTS. So I understand, and I'm sure it did hurt you, my friend.

But please don't hold it against your daughter. She's just a young person who wasn't thinking at the time. If she says something insensitive again, TELL her. She NEEDS to be told when she does this, as if she says this to people "out in the world" they'll think she's a real dope!!! So she needs some instructing on this kind of thing. Take care my friend, and God bless. Hugs, Lee
