Why should you believe anything about this?
I don't mean to be rude, but when licensed professionals all over the world are accurately diagnosing bipolar disorder in people who use drugs of different kinds, there really is no need for you to have an opinion on this matter. Are you a scientist or professional? Are your arguments against diagnosing people who are in need of treatment even on that level of discussion? I can assure you, not all drugs mimic bipolar, and sound diagnoses can be made even under less than optimal circumstances.
I really don't know if bipolar is being over-diagnosed.
