I was diagnosed many years ago with Major Depression at an impatient facility by a psychiatrist.
Then Bipolar by a psychiatrist (after 20 minutes of talking with me!). This was a misdiagnosis.
I've now been 'labeled' as having C-PTSD. Although this isn't an actual real diagnosis for insurance purposes. So they are actually Major Depression, PTSD, DD-NOS, BPD, Social Anxiety, and Agoraphobia with Panic Attacks.
All that makes up my C-PTSD!
A psychologist did this after a lot of assessments and testing. I feel it fits well.
I find a lot of psychiatrists are quick to label without taking into consideration a persons trauma.
