when u got put on disability, did u realize this is your life? U give up your old life, you don't work, u don't back to school, even worse if your on disabililty u proability r having trouble with your mental issues in the first place. I posted in a different area but I wanted to know how u guys felt. My daughter said she doesn't want to be like me and be home all the time she wants a career, I have a bachelors. I raised my kids when they where young. I tried to explain to her what was going on, but she really didn't want to know, it felt like she was ashamed of me. This is isn't where I wanted to be at 41, I had big dreams in my career that I got my degree in, now I have to live with my mom to support my kids. My dreams r gone
