Catharsis is usally geared around a particular event or problem, I think, so the problem that was making you more and more depressed (currently) was with the PDoc??
Acting out and blowing off steam might be good for a time or two, far apart, but yes, learning how to deal with stress and things that go bump in the night is the best! Learning to not accept responsibility for things out of your own control will help eliminate your internal anger, and yes, thus reduce your depression. TC!
