Ya know... During the assessment I had, there was this moment where the MSW offered some pretty unsolicited advice and I felt, and its a ridiculous term to use for me, and it wasn't the regular way its intended, but "Slut-shamed".
I stopped for a moment to think... did that really happen? (and whatevs... I can discuss in therapy when I finally get there.)
So no. No surprise that a therapist could, indeed, not know what gay pride is.
