I don't think the timing is an issue since unlike other benzos, clonazepam has a very long half life so it stays active in your system for a very long time, like days. So whether or not you take it in the morning or at night, it still will be present and mix with the alcohol.

I myself take clonazepam twice a day and have for a very long time, so much so that I'm pretty tolerant by now. I drink when I want to, sometimes too much, but not to the point of serious intoxication. You're not supposed to mix the two, that is true, but people are people and if they want to drink, they are going to. As long as you're not overdoing it or driving or anything else, I think it is an individual decision about how much risk you want to take with your body in terms of wear and tear not serious danger like an OD. It would take a lot more of the drug mixed with a lot of alcohol to cause death. Not a good idea to test that out though. A couple of beers and 1 mg of Klonopin is no way near a fatal combination. That's just false. Not condoning the mixing, just saying no one can tell you what to do with your body.
Thanks for this!
