I have been reading about SPD the last two days, and believe I have it. I'll be talking with my psych soon, when they return to the country, to be sure of course.

In reading I've learned it is common to have symptoms of other PDs or have an entire other as a comorbid disorder. I think I also may be Avoidant or Schitzotypal. Is it possible to have :three:...? Ugh. I took a few of those unofficial questionnaires online, and all came up with high numbers for Paranoid and Obsessive too (in addition to the three I suspect), but as far as the latter goes, I think it's (specifically) exaggerated because of the limitations of the questionnaires' limited/generic questions.

Does anyone else here have one or more comorbid PDs in addition to Schizoid? How can one differentiate? I suppose that would be up to my psych, but, big surprise, I find it difficult to trust an opinion without personal knowledge and only from one person. Any insight would be appreciated...

I guess I'm just freaking out, especially since discovering this was a total accident - I was just curious about what PDs really were, and before I knew it felt I was reading a manual about myself.
