I think next year I am going to buy one of those ice-cream cakes from Dairy Queen, they are so professional looking and I bet they taste amazing. I served the cake with coffee ice cream on the side and it went well with the dark chocolate/coconut. I'm a bit of a food snob lol and when my in-laws tell me I'm a good cook I always say, "No, I'm just hungry" lol. I grew up in an environment with no food available. We ate orange peels from the garbage and when we would have cans of food, my sisters and my brother and I would take the cans of spinach etc. and maul them like candy! I was always hungry growing up which I think developed my love for all things food. I love it when my kids say, "No thanks Mom, I'm not hungry". Healing to my soul. Happy Father's Day Platinum Heart!
