TICK TOCK, SLEEP! TICK TOCK!
I have an app on my Kindle that plays white noise and it usually helps a little. But! Since going to bed at midnight I've been up at 1am and then again at 2:30 and have been up since. The dog kicked me out of bed (I'm sure most people could sleep through it... but ooooh noooo... not me!) so now I'm on the couch. I bring my Kindle with me... try to turn it on... and get "battery is too low to turn on". Oh noooo! Whhhhhhyyyyyyy! Oh sleep, you are a cold hard mistress.
Now I do have to say that some nights I do sleep a little better since taking it. But for the hard type of insomnia it doesn't seem to help very much. Also unfortunately, by the time I realize that it hasn't done very much (i.e. 3:30am) its too late to take anything else without feeling like crap the next day.
