Today is one of those days where I don't want to do the socially acceptable things such as making eye contact or smiling at someone else.

Yeah Yeah, I know, I should play nice but today (like many other days) I feel like it's unfair that a person should be forced into doing these types of things if they don't feel like it. I hate social pressure to conform because I might hurt someone else's feelings if I don't. It's not like I'm going out of my way to be mean to anyone, I just don't want to play the game of fake smiles and "How do you do?" when really I don't care. So damned phony these gestures often are yet society insists we do them because someone might get miffed if we don't.

Anyone else get this way?
Thanks for this!
