Something that can be useful if you're still not sure of any trends is keeping a food journal. Theoretical example: you might find on days that you have coffee, you end up more depressed in the afternoon or evening because of coming down from the caffeine high.
Also, keeping a food journal gives you multiple regulated chances to write down any feelings or current events throughout the day in addition as you break to eat.
