Hi Maureen, that's an interesting reply. I have BP2 (hypomania with mixed states) and have been on Depakote since May - started at 750mg a day increased to 1000mg a few months ago. When I got the diagnosis doc immediately changed Effexor (she thought it was a trigger for the mania) and switched me to Sertraline (Zoloft) think they call it Sertraline here in the UK!? I hope I have that right.

I felt a bit manic last couple of days on higher dose coupled with anxiety and now my head feels sooooooo foggy in the mornings and I feel REALLY tired and sort of numb. I didnt stop taking the Zoloft at any time.

I have heard much about Wellbutrin - what is it exactly?

Sounds like you have similar symptoms to Seasonal Affective Disorder - I have this also - horrible.....
