We have 4 seasons per year: really cold winter, "iffy" spring, warm & humid summer, cool & crisp autumn. The leaves change colors, and fall off the trees, remain barren for winter, sprout new leaves in the late spring very quickly. Lots of different wild life comes and goes with the seasons as well. Things aren't the same for very long...and I like that!
I grew up in SoCal, where it was mostly warm and then hot year-round. I didn't notice the wildlife coming and going there. Nor does SoCal have the trees changing with every season. So, MN is really different for me!
