I have never ever been impatient with my boy when he cries. Now that he is 15, it doesn't happen anymore. But when he was a little boy, it didn't bother me at all. After all, he's a child.

Now, my husband I have only seen cry a handful of times but my ex husband was another story. He could cry at the drop of a hat and used to use this as a weapon to emotionally manipulate me.

Crying isn't a sign of weakness. It's a sign of having tried too hard to be strong for too long.
