Did he tell you he doesn't believe that bipolar 2 is real? This sounds very odd for a pdoc to believe. Does he believe there is bipolar 1 or depression? Did another pdoc give you your original diagnosis? It sounds odd that your doctors have such different thoughts about your diagnosis.
