Hello Cloudyday.
and everyone
I used to set goals, then strive like crazy to acheive them, then feel horrible about myself for
my failure.
I have given up goals.
this is what I do. I write down my goal on a sheet of paper. and every morning I read it
breathing , moving carefully and fluidly while I think on it.
then I put it away and put it out of my mind. (analytical, conscious mind)
I find that my behavior starts changing and I take advantage of opportunities that come up
or I am filled with a desire to do things that are 'in accord' or supportive to my 'secret' goal.
I move naturally toward what I before strove with anxiety toward.
it creates for me more harmony and serenity and achievement that I got before.
