It's a tough one. If someone, not dx, has a very depressed mood for, let us say, three days I think he, or she, is completely justified in saying I'm depressed. Personally, I accept anyone's use of depressed, but it does bug me when someone uses the terms bipolar or schizophrenic. They are specific dx's. Still. people will say what they say and I hate when they assume that people with bipolar or schizophrenia are dangerous far more.
